Nature calls to us over the sounds of the city. I enjoy taking people of all ages and backgrounds into nature—on hikes or walks through forests, along seashores and up to panoramas.
You can also choose a walk that gives you time and space for self-reflection, such as meditation, journaling, writing poetry or drawing.
I also give talks and lead activities on a range of topics that pertain to our local environment. These can be for adults or children, in the field, the classroom or on Zoom:
- Animal Adaptations
- Bay Marine Ecosystems
- Hands-on Habitats
- Hummingbirds
- Oak Woodlands
- Native Plants and Their Uses
- Rhythms of the Redwoods
- Shorebirds
